Care That Feels Safe and Accountable

Families should know what Anna can provide, where the boundaries are, and how concerns are handled before care begins.

Clear service boundaries

Anna focuses on companionship, prompts, meals, errands, light household help, and respite support. Clinical, nursing, live-in, and complex regulated care needs should be arranged with an appropriate provider.

Safeguarding awareness

Concerns about wellbeing, neglect, abuse, falls, medication, or unsafe routines are taken seriously and recorded so the right family member or professional can be involved.

Notes after visits

Care notes, concerns, incidents, and follow-ups are kept in Anna's private portal so families can rely on a proper record, not just memory.

Complaints are recorded

If something is not right, Anna will listen, record the concern, respond clearly, and use the learning to improve future care.

References and Checks

Real testimonials will only be published with written consent. Until then, families can ask Anna directly about references, DBS, insurance and care experience before deciding.

Documents can be checked

Families can ask Anna directly what DBS, insurance, training and care-experience evidence is available before care begins.

References by consent

References or testimonials should only be shared when the person giving them has agreed to that use.

Privacy comes first

Care stories can identify vulnerable people, so Local Village Care does not publish placeholder reviews or private family details.

A note from Anna

I started Local Village Care because I wanted to offer care in a more personal way.

I do not want people to feel like they are being fitted into a rota. I want them to feel like someone familiar is coming round - someone who knows how they take their tea, notices if something feels different, and has time for a proper chat.

I only work locally, and I only take on people where I know I can give them the time and consistency they deserve.
