It is always me., I am local., I have done this before., I will be honest with you..
These source pages answer buyer questions about care costs, how Local Village Care compares with larger agencies, what support Anna provides, safety boundaries, and what families can expect before visits begin.
It depends on my current availability, but I can often arrange an initial visit within a few days. If it's urgent, give me a call and I'll do my best.
I'll keep you updated after every visit. You can also reach me anytime by phone or WhatsApp — I'm always happy to chat.
I usually do visits Monday to Friday during the day. Evenings and weekends might be possible depending on what else I've got on — just ask.
Not at the moment — I focus on daytime visiting care. But I'm happy to chat about your situation and point you in the right direction if you need something different.
No pressure, no complicated process — just a conversation
Call me, send a WhatsApp, or fill out the form. No pressure — just a friendly chat to start.
I'll listen to what your loved one needs, answer your questions, and be honest about whether I'm the right fit.
I'll pop round for an informal visit so your loved one can meet me and feel comfortable before anything starts.
Together, we'll work out a plan that suits everyone — what help is needed, when, and how often.
I'll keep you updated after every visit, and we can adjust things whenever life changes.
The difference is simple: your loved one sees the same local person each time.
Your loved one sees the same person each time, not a changing rota.
I am based in Send and keep my visits nearby, so the support stays reliable and familiar.
I worked with a larger care agency before going independent.
If I am not the right fit for what someone needs, I will say so clearly.
I will keep you updated after visits, and I am happy to talk through DBS, insurance and references before care starts.
Families should know what Anna can provide, where the boundaries are, and how concerns are handled before care begins.
Anna focuses on companionship, prompts, meals, errands, light household help, and respite support. Clinical, nursing, live-in, and complex regulated care needs should be arranged with an appropriate provider.
Concerns about wellbeing, neglect, abuse, falls, medication, or unsafe routines are taken seriously and recorded so the right family member or professional can be involved.
Care notes, concerns, incidents, and follow-ups are kept in Anna's private portal so families can rely on a proper record, not just memory.
If something is not right, Anna will listen, record the concern, respond clearly, and use the learning to improve future care.
Real testimonials will only be published with written consent. Until then, families can ask Anna directly about references, DBS, insurance and care experience before deciding.
Families can ask Anna directly what DBS, insurance, training and care-experience evidence is available before care begins.
References or testimonials should only be shared when the person giving them has agreed to that use.
Care stories can identify vulnerable people, so Local Village Care does not publish placeholder reviews or private family details.
I started Local Village Care because I wanted to offer care in a more personal way.
I do not want people to feel like they are being fitted into a rota. I want them to feel like someone familiar is coming round - someone who knows how they take their tea, notices if something feels different, and has time for a proper chat.
I only work locally, and I only take on people where I know I can give them the time and consistency they deserve.

I am based in Send and mainly cover Send, Ripley, East Horsley, West Horsley, Ockham, the Clandons, Burpham, Merrow and nearby villages.
I keep my home care patch small on purpose. It means less time driving and more time with the people I visit. If your village is nearby, give me a ring and I will tell you honestly whether I can help.
That is completely fine. Give me a call or send a message and we can talk it through.
